Sample code

The following download(s) show a working integration that follows the Snapdocs suggested best practice, hooked to a fake LOS and interactive UI to test the integration paths.

eClose connector

The connector follows the integration architecture: a Closing Sender, a Listener, and Status and Doc(s) Handlers. It also follows the Snapdocs API best practices defined in various Snapdocs API guides: token caching, safe retries, a 200 listener acknowledgment with separate handlers run as retried jobs, and HMAC signature checks.

We couple this with a small pretend LOS with a very light UI and loan data and documents represented by local files. Once you fill out your settings with a working non-production API key, the screens can send loans. Interact with the closing as you would normally, see the status events return and completed documents download.

This integration cannot figure out the LOS interaction needed to Send Loans to Snapdocs, how status updates should display in the LOS, or where executed downloaded documents end up. That work is left up to you, the integrator.

Run it

  1. Install the .NET 10 SDK and unzip the download.
  2. Run dotnet run --project src/FakeLos and open http://localhost:5080.
  3. Enter your demo credentials on the Settings tab, then follow the Instructions tab.
  4. Plan out your real integration and LOS updates!

For security purposes, credentials are saved to a local lenders.json file that should be git ignored, or otherwise excluded in checked in repositories.
