Who builds with Snapdocs
Three kinds of teams build against these APIs. The platform surface is the same for all of them; what differs is what you're wiring it into and who you talk to along the way.
Adjacent software platforms
You run a system that shares customers with Snapdocs: an LOS, a POS, a settlement or TPS platform, or a secondary-market LAS (loan-aggregation system). You build the integration once and offer it to many shared customers, so per-customer configuration matters from day one. You want to plan for field-mapping overrides per customer, unique credentials and webhook endpoints per customer, and product or feature toggles each customer can set. Expect the partner track: an NDA and API agreement through bdteam@snapdocs.com, the Integrator environment, and test-lender configurations to exercise per-customer differences.
Customers who want the most control
You're a Snapdocs customer with your own engineering team, integrating directly instead of waiting on a vendor's roadmap. You hold your own credentials, run your own connector, and decide exactly when closings are created and what happens on each event. You work through your customer success manager, account executive or salesteam@snapdocs.com, and you test in the Demo environment against your own configuration.
As a tech forward customer, you can augment what you receive from Out of the Box integrations (Encompass, Mortgage Cadence, Byte, Resware, etc). You don't have to be a customer on a custom LOS or TPS; you can be someone who wants a broader dataset to analyse, a custom team dashboard for exceptions, an LOS automation expert who wants the rich connection Snapdocs Connect offers, or just an integrator who sets a high bar for quality.
Enterprise customers building for flexibility
You're integrating Snapdocs into a larger operatio (multiple systems, compliance stores, downstream automation) where building directly is what makes the workflows fit. The same direct-customer track applies, and the products are designed to be combined: the closing your LOS integration creates can flow on to Post Close QC and eVault without new plumbing.
Whichever you are, Plan your integration covers what happens before the first API call.
