Where Integrators Start
Welcome! Before you build, we want you to see what's possible with Snapdocs eVault. An eNote's life runs from origination through transfers, asset management and, eventually, payoff, with many parties and phases along the way. Each phase has its own moments worth automating. This page helps you find where your business fits in that lifecycle, so you know which workflows matter most to you and where to get started.
| When… | What you'd automate | Often | Start here |
|---|---|---|---|
| A loan just closed | Let your LOS know when the eNote is registered with MERS, and attach supplemental documents | Originators | Registration Webhooks, Add Document |
| I'm sending eNotes to a partner | Transfer rights, including servicing rights, and eDeliver eNotes, one at a time or in bulk | Originators, correspondent lenders | Transfer of rights, Initiate a transfer |
| eNotes are arriving to me | Get notified of incoming transfers and eDeliveries, including transfers you approve as secured party, and check each eNote against your loan data | Correspondent investors and aggregators, servicers and subservicers, warehouse banks | Incoming transfers, Auto-Validation |
| A loan was paid off | Deactivate the eNote in MERS after a home sale, refinance or final payment | Servicers and subservicers | eNote Deactivation, Deactivate an eNote |
Whatever your use case, Snapdocs eVault supports automating how you handle these assets, and most integrations grow into more than one row over time. We encourage you to talk with your Snapdocs team early so we can help you build the right thing.
Your next read is Integrating to Snapdocs eVault. It walks through every major workflow with a sequence diagram (auto-validation, incoming and outgoing transfers and eDeliveries, and deactivation), along with how Snapdocs suggests architecting an integration: listening for events, handling them, and calling the eVault APIs.
